As with almost everything in life, starting early in life is the best way to go.

Our mission at Krav Maga Experts is simple; to give our children essential self-defense knowledge to empower them with life skills, confidence and a healthy sense of self-esteem learned through Krav Maga. In today’s reality, we must be as vigilant as ever. Krav Maga provides the necessary tools to safeguard our kids from a wide array of threats and give them the confidence to do so intelligently and independently at a moment’s notice. Krav Maga doesn’t mean reverting to violence. On the contrary, defending oneself is always taught as a last resort. Our students acquire expert Krav Maga instruction to understand the fundamental concepts of self-awareness, assertiveness, and the ability to use verbal techniques to defuse dangerous situations. These tactics are ideal to avoid becoming involved in physical confrontations and are essential against the typical classroom bully. Bullying can take many forms, and part of being able to stop bullying is dependent on teaching our students, through Krav Maga, to do so in a manner that doesn’t compromise their future or success. Children as young as toddlers spend time outside of the scope of their parents’ protection and must learn these different approaches to staying safe. Between our real-life methods of physical defense and emphasis on self-respect and discipline, Krav Maga is an excellent way to protect your child while shaping mental fortitude and integrity that will last into adulthood. These solid foundations taught at Krav Maga Experts will stay with them, wherever they go, throughout their life.

Krav Maga Youth Classes are held at our UWS location every weekday at 4:30 and Saturday mornings.

Training Krav Maga will further develop a child’s attention span, self-discipline, and confidence. Our attested program improves the functionality of their body in aspects of coordination, posture, strength and overall physical fitness. These improvements transcend into the school room and throughout their daily lives.

Our Krav Maga program is built on repetition of techniques to develop muscle memory. This form of repetition during training strengthens a child’s ability to be persistent in everyday life. Parents report that their kids show decreased levels of stress and anxiety as a result of stimulating physical and mental activity from our Krav Maga classes.

We empower our kids with the ability to calmly rationalize dangerous situations through Krav Maga, such as fights, fires or accidents. Our students learn practical Krav Maga techniques that apply to real-life situations unlike those offered from controlled environments found in sport-based self-defense methodologies.

With consistent Krav Maga training comes a sense of accomplishment. Our expert Krav Maga instructors teach your child the ability to set and achieve goals, which fosters ambition and growth. Teaching Krav Maga to children enables them with improved perseverance and resilience in all aspects of life.

The instructors at Krav Maga Experts are dedicated to instilling a comprehensive and practical understanding of self-defense to stop and prevent bullying from adversely affecting our adolescent & youth practitioners. Bullying comes in many different forms, especially when kids are alone and away from friends or family. In our Krav Maga classes, there is a strong emphasis on identifying the many signs of bullying and learning how to de-escalate without resorting to physical altercations studied in class. Sadly, most parents don’t even know their child is a victim of bullies until it is too late and the psychological and physical damage is done.

Telltale signs of bullying include:

• Name calling and teasing.
• Stealing or damaging personal property.
• Threats and intimidation.
• Physical violence: punching, pinching, kicking and more.

It’s imperative as parents or guardians that we communicate with our children and are conscious of these telltale signs to prevent or stop bullies once and for all.
